Has anyone read Name of the Wind? While listening to this song, I keep thinking about the books, specifically about Kvothe. I feel like this song describes his relationship with Denna really well. The lyrics are about a relationship that comes and goes, they fight and make up, she seems distant and unattainable. This literally describes Denna. If you want to be really specific, the “fairytale” could be the Felurian. This whole song also just feels like something Kvothe could play in the Eolian.
