The music from some PS1 games could also be played in a CD player. NASCAR 2000 was one of them. This track is listed as "Main Menu". It is an instrumental version of "Love and Greed" by Blues Traveler.

man this is the best song ever on a Nascar title, it fits perfectly with the aestethic of the era + the cars and tracks of that year, it's so energetic that makes you win every race with any car, i love this game and this song, incredible job Blues Traveler, i'm an absolute fan thanks to this song!

I was alwase freacked out of the ps1 opening screen, because it alwase caught me off guard because I have super sensitive hearing and it was alwase loud to me, (same thing as a popping balloon) but it was worth it to play this masterpiece
