We still hardly have any Satellite service provider giving 4k channel. HD also is only 1080i and not 1080p. But it is a smart device and for higher bandwidth broadband and compatible TV set one can really enjoy the 8k experience. I am atleast ready for it 😀👍🏼

8k even at 24 frames/sec means approx 32mega pixel camera's resolution per frame which is very distant from becoming a trend in india. When we move diagonally to resolutions like Hd ->FHD->QHD->UHD->8k these things increase the pixel size exponentially so i think it will take a while before it becomes a trend because processors are not yet ready to run it in a desired frame comfortablly , though then can process somehow.

India is growing rapidly in terms of technology at home entertainment but not yet ready for 8K resolution TVs. The reasons are as follows: 1. The average resolution of the home user's LCD and LED tv is maxed at 1080p. 2. DTH providers provide only 1080p/1080i resolution via their HD set-top boxes as picture format (channels resolution) is maxed at 1080p/1080i, on the other hand, OTT platforms like Netflix does support 4K content but it is limited and subscription is costly. 3. Internet speed in metropolitan cities is good and can support 8K content but the above two points are the main hurdle in achieving it. Hope this gives a clear picture on how much India is ready for 8K tv boxes like H96 Max.

Very slowly, people are moving towards 4K content creation that too available on KZbin, Netflix and other OTT media plaforms only. Broadcasting 4K content is still a distant dream right now. It's mainly because of vast storage requirements, heavy computational (rendering / processing etc.), STB's & other broadcasting infrastructure upgradations. Similarly, 8K production will need more infrastructure and efforts atleast 4 folds in all aspects mentioned above in addition to 4K production. Having said that, it seems like difficult in near future but looking into other aspects i.e. availability of cost-effective Cloud storage & computational power solutions, "Fibre to Home" internet speed along with cheap data plans and India's fast moving Space development programs which'll give boost to many technological advancements (eapecially related to internet & broadcasting) including 8K consumption in India, sooner than many many other countries. There is no direct answer to the question but at the moment India is not ready for 8K. There are some hurdles/points that needs to be addressed for the success of 8K;- 1. Cost:- At the moment the cost of 8k is too high. I am talking about television. Even the 4K technology is costly. The companies needs to work hard to bring cost-effective 8K technology for the consumers. 2. Interoperability:- the next big hurdle is interoperability. If you have a 8k television but what about the service provider (DTH) who does not provide 8k contents. 3. New Technology:- 8k is still a futuristic concept. With daily new inventions and applications, We may see something new that is much better than 8K and at a lower cost. In My view India is not yet ready for 8K.

I think India is not ready for 8k. It will take a time span of 1.5-2 years when we will get to see 5G in India. After that also it will take time for service providers to be able to provide 5G internet services to the customers. But this tv box is unique in all the terms.
