Hello Cecilia nice to see you again this time in Vietnam. This is another motor cycle adventure I look forward to see. This 1st part is very interesting and with beautiful scenery all along the way. Peaceful and with lots of motorcycles and the country sides are still natural and unspoiled and full of greens. I think it has a better scenery than the 1000 corners route in Thailand which you went sometimes back. The home stays you stayed are so natural, clean and comfortable. These riding on these sorts of road you need to be extra careful because it is winding, steep and narrow with very steep hillsides. Hope to see your next episode soon. Take care and stay safe from Uncle LOiew.

Hi Uncle Liew, how are you? Thanks for returning to my channel again. Yes I totally agree with you that ha Giang loop scenery is stunning, I personally prefer Ha Giang over 1000 corners in Thailand, and I also strongly believe that Ha Giang has 1000 corners too if the locals count it. The unique part about Ha Giang is the breathtaking landscapes spread out the whole loop of 400km, non stop, it's a very rare gem. Hope to see you in my next video, take care!

Breathless scenery ! Better than Mae Hon Son ! To enjoy such a place, I need at least 2 weeks! I don't see any pharmacy or formal grocery store! How do they get treatment when they get sick! Looks like Ironman and you have a perpetual holiday all your life! Kena lottery kah? Thanks for sharing! Wish I were younger!
@Ceciliasophy8 ай бұрын
Yes I agree with you, the scenery is one of its kind and not many parts of the world offer such landscape throughout the whole 400km of journey. We wish we are on perpetual holiday ride but we fall within the group which we have to work to accumulate wealth for our riding adventures. If you refer my last riding video, it was the Dec ride of Thailand Umphang. It's been few months we were working and will continue so😊

During the Vietnam War, the Hmong tribe helped the CIA to fight the N.Vietnamese and many were given residence in the US. I am happy to see they have learnt to open B& B outlets in the highlands and earning a living like everybody else! The Vietnamese are indeed a forgiving people! God help them!
Why you guys no need follow tour guide? I thought it is a requirement from vietnam government for tourist riding there
@Ceciliasophy8 ай бұрын
I have not heard of this requirement before. There are many foreigners who self guided ride in Vietnam without tour guide, including Malaysian.
@pfv79228 ай бұрын
@@Ceciliasophy maybe ASEAN nationality are exempted bcos Vietnam follows China regulations on foreign riding vehicle in their country. I saw many overland motorcycle blogger from europe said about this.
@Ceciliasophy8 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if there is such regulation that foreigners compulsory need tour guide. I read many blogs written by western tourists who ride without guide, I've met europeans along the ride who also ride without guide. China regulation did not request foreigners to ride with tour guide, only require tour guide when foreigner riding foreign registered vehicle. If one is riding a China registered vehicle, no tour guide is required. Please refer to my previous 2 episodes of china ride, I've mentioned this. So, my video clearly shows we are renting bikes and ride at Ha Giang, it's self explanatory that no guide is required. If one is overland with their own vehicle, which is registered in their own home country, then guide may be required.
@pfv79228 ай бұрын
@@Ceciliasophy You are right only renting local vehicle not required guide
