Thanks, you will enjoy its fantastic. Ah yes the old Oz IDP not accepted in Vietnam. Many people we spoke to on the loop had same issue with their countries IDP not accepted. There’s a police checkpoint a few hours out of Ha Giang city. Everyone goes past it. You stop pay a fine and on you go. They are very friendly about he whole saga. It’s a pity international bureaucracy gets in the way when you are a competent licences rider.

Hi sorry for delay, been travelling. We did the trip end of March. Luckily before all the big rains a month later.
