It shows that Mo is a jerk and Robert had every right to end his friendship. Mo never once tried to call him or write to Robert at all and try to explain things. Also, Cairo was in the wrong. Cookie should have told Huey that there are people who can understand and move on while those can't and hold on a grudge. Cairo's anger towards Huey was out of selfishness. I read that Cairo has abandonment issues. Huey being force to move, Cairo took it personality despite it wasn't Huey's fault. Cairo will face his downfall in the future and realizes that he threw away his friendship with Huey not Huey. Cairo will one day regret it.
