I've always thought Ha Ji won was seriously overrated but she proved me wrong and impressed me with Curtain Call and this time I have to say this is a well-deserved win. I can't believe I was actually hoping she'd win either the Daesang or Top Excellence Award that night. It still remains to be seen if she can pull off more drama performances of such high caliber consistently, but if she does, she will more than redeem herself for her last few mediocre works and I'll consider her a heavyweight actress worth watching out for.

@@mycanal_bd5002 Most of her movies after Sex Is Zero were pretty mediocre. I thought she had the potential in those early days. Overly cringe-worthy, trying to act cute or sassy but not pulling it off because that's not her thing unlike Jun Ji Hyun, for example. I didn't really like Secret Garden but have to admit she was not bad there. But her later dramas like The Time We Were Not In Love, Hospital Ship and Chocolate were completely mediocre and flat. The bad writing was one issue but her acting in these dramas left a lot to be desired. That was why I always considered her extremely overrated until her recent performance in Curtain Call. And although I found most of her movies slapstick, without substance and mediocre, I recently saw a real winner, Closer to Heaven. Although the lead actor's performance would draw much of the spotlight, playing a character succumbing to an incurable illness, Ha Ji Won's performance there was also highly impressive, and, I believe, won her a Baeksang Best Actress award which was well-deserved.

@@GEROMAN-DLHK If you've only just seen Close to Heaven, it shows me that you don't know half of Ha Ji Won's work to make an opinion. You got stuck with Secret garden and Hospital ship. How unfortunate that the actress you consider mediocre according to Wikipedia has achieved a total of 45 trophies including 4 Baeksang Art Awards, 4 Blue Dragon, 2 Daesang (KBS-MBC), 9 Best Actress, 3 Best Leading and Supporting actress and 4 Top Excellence Award. . If that doesn't count, I don't know what world you live in. You should consider that she is the most versatile actress: dramas, action (many times without doubles), historical (Damo-Duelist-Hwan Jini- Empress Ki), Horror (Phone).. Check on wikipedia the achievements of your favorite actress, since I am not going to judge the achievements of another actress like you do here.
