Haïti parie sur la banane avec Agritrans

Situé dans un triangle d'or entre l'Université Roi Henri Christophe de Limonade, le parc industriel de Caracol et une plantation d'oranges amères qui produit pour les meilleures liqueurs de France, le projet Agritrans suscite déjà pas mal d'éloges. Officiellement lancé en octobre 2014, au Trou-du-Nord, dans le département du Nord-Est, le projet Agritrans, une plantation de bananes étendue sur mille hectares, est en passe de réussir deux paris : celui d’être le plus grand projet agricole à travers tout le pays et celui de permettre à Haïti d'éxporter cette denrée environ un demi-siècle après les dernières cargaisons vers l'étranger.
