Seo-jin cared about Eun-byeol. You have to know that Seo-jin was raised the same way: being compared to Seo-yeon(her stepsister), the pressure of must having to be first. Seo-jin's dad slapped her not because she cut Yoon-hee's throat but because she lost to her. She loved Eun-byeol in the wrong way if she was raised right she wouldn't be toxic.
