Simply fabulous!! My take is that no one comes as close to a Kishore da sound as Amit da. Had he wanted he could have mimicked his dad and replaced the void left in the industry after Kishoreda had passed on, but he wanted to sing with his own uniqueness and originality ( like everyone should ). Amit da has the same mellow and sweet voice he had when he sang for Love Story! Amit da, carry on being yourself. Try to forgive anyone that may have wronged you in any way because ultimately love and forgiveness rules supreme. Your fans still love you the same as they did years ago, as an artist there can be and is no greater achievement than the sincere affection, adulation and admiration of the aam fans. The awards and recognitions are merely a formality if you live in the hearts of the listeners!

Close your eyes and you will feel that this is Voice of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan..Music composers after 2000s missed a golden opportunity to use Amit da's voice for Amitabh ji..He was Amitabh's voice in Bole Chudiyaan song for K3G and no one could have replaced him in that song..In fact in whole career of Amitabh only Kishore da matched his voice and later Amit da could have been used for him..but Music composers lacked the vision

RD flavor! Feel the same about some of the other songs in this album. Instantly reminds me of "Main shaayar badnaam" & "Nadiya se dariyaa" from "Namak Haraam". Also, "Sapne mein dekha sapna" from "Golmaal". That said, I feel AK still has lot of freshness & energy in his voice. I notice his voice base improving with age, resembling more and more like his great father but despite his natural inheritance, his own God-gifted unique voice texture is still retained. That's the greatest thing, in my view. Can you imagine "Ye zameen gaa rahi hai", "Maang lunga main tujhe taqdeer se", "Dekho maine dekha hai ye ek sapna", "Kaisa tera pyaar, kaisa gussa hai tera" or "Roz roz aankhon tale" sounding as melodious in any other voice (including KK)?
