You look like you were going through a program very much like the one I just finished. The tutorial was very clear, and sounds exactly like what I learned as well. Keep posting videos!

The machine and the person who is giving the presentation is ok, but the camera is supposed to focus on the button and computer interface that is showing the program running, instead of focusing on the person who is presenting how to use the machine because we could not see what code and what button she was clicking or entering (The monitor was unclear and it was too far from the camera), however the video was very helpful and thank you very much

I've just started using a Haas TL2 and have found your posted video very helpful, there isn't to much on the TL2 over here in the uk. I look forward to further posts.

Some CAM software will automatically do it and some may not. The best thing to do is look for the codes for pause which is M00 or M01; spindle stop which is M05; and possibly a machine zero which is G28 in your program text. If the codes have not been generated, you can put them in manually. Remember only one M code per line.

After you turn on a HASS control and RESET alarms, push the "BLUE" "Power Up Restart" button next to the reset. This button will automatically ZERO out all axis and tool changer. The machine is homed that way on all HASS I have run.

When you don't have the auto turret do you have to program a pause between tools for manual tool change or does the machine pick that up automatically?
@RebeccaRiceChannel7 жыл бұрын
landlockedviking also you might put a G28 also so it will go back to machine 0 and you'll get clearance.

I believe the math on the x-face measurement is incorrect. You should have only subtracted double the diameter of the spacer, instead you subtracted the entire diameter of the stock as well. I'm still new to this, I may be wrong!

if the stocks actual diameter was .746 when you measured it? why did you teach the machine that the diameter was really 1.12", because that literally makes zero sense.

So, let me get this straight, you you have to hold down that dead man switch the whole time the cycle is running. Right?? So, basically, you are required to run the machine with one hand, and hold that "Hold to Run" switch with the other. Right?? But you didn't do it.

@Jimmy-ry1sc4 жыл бұрын
Seriously, this is ridiculous. This is a training video for HAAS folks trying to learn the machine and do presentations. It is not for customers! There were 5 people involved in this. Not sure you can measure the diameter with all that squealing and the high spots it produces on the part. Not sure I saw the Work offsets being set. Neither of the presenters had any idea of what they were doing. I think the comments below were done by the same folks that do the judging on American Idol as they were too nice and forgiving. Companies that purchase these tools deserve better.

This tutorial was done for students trying to learn. Not for customers.
@SS-lt7lk2 жыл бұрын
This is the worst video for students trying to learn; only problem is, there are many more worse than this; but this one is still worthless, why is she adding to the stocks diameter for some reason she never explained. and used a spacer to teach machine the part was 1.12 in diameter when it was actually like .76 in diameter so somethings really off.
