i gotta give props to one of the OG VRBR, Stand out was a great game but it truly felt more PUBG then anything else. Contractors showdown is the eptiomy of warzone in vr and ive never felt more alive playing a VRFPS.

Contractors was my first VR shooter. I didnt realize how spoiled that would make me. EVERY other shooter ive played does not have as clean and realistic gunplay as Contractors. And now this?! oh man i cant wait.

Ive been playing onward because its free with Meta + Trying to decide between this and Ghosts of tabor. Did you ever play Tabor? Im was a Tarkov guy So that genre is up my alley.

I personally prefer Breachers over contractors. Something about contractors movement feels clunky and gives me motion sickness and I like the way guns handle much better in breachers. Do you think if I try showdown the experience will be any better? I just don’t really like the way the regular contractors handles. Idk if it’s the frame rate or what. Just feels clunky and nauseating.

@@jamesbaka1206 if you didn’t like the original you probably won’t like showdown because I doubt their going to change anything with their guns. I actually hadn’t heard of breachers until you said it, did a quick KZbin of it and it definitely looks WAY smoother with movement, but the gunplay…. Dude haha most of the guns it looks like to reload all you need to do is take out the magazine and insert a new one without needing to chamber a round first, or pull the charging handle. its little details like that for me as a vet, that are huge turn offs. In any case, i think Showdown should be fun and probably the premiere battle royale in VR for some time so you should get it too :)

When I bought Contractor$ in July 2019 it was NOTHING compared to what it has become. It was..."oh, a new VR shooter." The first real deal was Onward. Then Pavlov came with the GORE. Now Contractors has Team Fortress 2 which is AMAZING because TF2 was the first official VR game. (i have some vids on my channel) But yeah, I'm loving Showdown. I said goodbye Pop One.

Real life shotguns, especially with slugs, are pretty impressive with the range, there's a reason they are used for hunting.

@@Verociity people who played the beta arent your common gamers. they took the extra steps to play the game early, so they are gonna want to use its features. most people that dont talk, one day start talking and inevitably say "haha i remember when i first played and never talked to anyone" youll have WAY more fun playing as a squad who communicates rather then playing a third wheel to random team mates.

I really like your channel. I found it some time ago, maybe one year? I saw your video about Surv1v3, i guess. I downloaded it and it's an awesome game! I truly recommend! I also enjoy the way you talk along your videos, which makes things much more interesting, i don't know why. If by "Broken Left Stick" you mean joycon drift then the solution is as I found: Take out the battery (if oculus controller) then Pour Isopropyl alcohol into the stick using a dropper or something then hang it upside down for a while until it evaporates. Repeat that 2 more times and boom the joystick drift is gone. (I had severe joystick drift on my left controller and after trying this it is completely gone).
