In partnership with Will County Habitat for Humanity, NRMCA, Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects, BASF, Logix, and several other local area supplies and supporters, Ozinga was a key material supplier for a more sustainable duplex-style build in Elwood, Illinois. This Habitat for Humanity home is a first of its kind has it features nearly net-zero ICF forms and Ozinga’s very own ultra-low embodied carbon concrete design, CarbonSense®. By utilizing CarbonSense® on this build, there is a potential of over 70% savings in overall Global Warming Potential.
