Was a nice treat to have Momo on this week’s show. He would be a welcome addition to Knuckles, Rick, and Stu.

I don’t know about Dach but I do know that I can’t judge him until he has the rest of the year to recover. Dach is still worth watching. Both he and Slaf are improving and will continue to do so.

Yep, coming back from that much time with that kind of injury isn’t easy. As for Slaf he hasn’t really concerned me too much, last year he had an even worse start and still managed to get it going later in the year. He’s had another bad start but this time it’s atleast still a 50 point pace and still lots of season for him to turn up with Laine.

Sergio hit the nail on the head, rule #1, be aggressive-work hard-be physical, they should dominate down-low.

Get Heineman's minutes up to 14.5

I look at it like this. Slaf only played 30 odd games his first season because of injury. Essentially the first year was a right off. Last year was really kind of his rookie year, this year being his sophomore year, and it is just the dreaded sophomore slump. As far as Heineman. I would move Slaf up to the first line, Heineman up to fill Slaf's spot on the 2nd line. Newhook....hard to say. If they traded Dvorak, then I would say his spot, but neither Anderson or Gallagher deserve a demotion to the 4th line, but neither really does Newhook.

Heineman is a top six winger...but they don't have a center for him to play with. Regardless he is not getting the minutes he deserves.

Having players with size is great, but when they don't use their size to impact the play physically then what's the point. Not everyone can be a finesse player like Hutson & some others. Everyone should have a role and a specialty.

Rangers are in turmoil-- trade Slaf for Alexis Lafrenièr. Quick, strike while the iron's hot. You can thank me later.

Slaf is only 20. Never played OHL or American College. Played briefly Euro hockey. So he still has lots to learn about the NHL. That's what I see. I see a kid who is trying to figure out what to do on the ice.
