Ahh, no way! This one is actually one of my favorites, although in season 1 it begins fairly slow and like a typical romcom, i had it on mostly for background noise at the start. But trust me, later on, the amount of layers every single character has is infathomable and you're kinda on everyones side, it's crazy! Anyway, thank you for reacting! Hikigaya calling Yui a "b*tch" and her reaction makes more sense if you know that it means something different in Japan. To them it's like calling someone promiscuous or a sl*t (which is actually what it meant originally in the west too until it got changed over time to it's current use). You'll see it used this same way in some light novels and other anime.

What a treat to see you starting Oregairu! This is up there in my top Rom-Coms with the likes of Kaguya-sama, Toradora, Dangers in my heart etc. I also enjoy how you analyze each character so I'm really looking forward to future episodes when more characters/ layers are added into the mix. Also, as a personal thing the VA's for Hachiman and Yukino are the same for Loid and Yor in Spy-Family. Which was my initial reason for getting hyped for Spy-family when it originally aired because it meant hearing Hachiman and Yukino together as the leads again. :)

Great pick, and since you're versed in psychology i'm expecting a great reaction. Just a tip though, read about "Hon'ne and Tatemae" because it is a key japanese cultural aspect that is expected to be understood in order to properly "get" this anime, otherwise you may get sort of confused about the characters actions and motives (like most other reacts did)

I think the author gave a tickling touch by creating a denial character like Hachiman. It seems like either a popular manga or a lightnovel or both. seems to be based on a unique characterization depiction. The story is based on Slice of Life with a bit of romance and focuses on Hachiman's eccentric actions, it is a bit of a detective-themed story that seems to interest me but with a solution approach that somewhat touches on characters, feelings and/or habits Behind the scenes, the author of this story seems to be a wise person who understands the science of psychology quite a bit
