I had to restart the vol. 2 to beat the doppelganger twice and get all the weapons... I also wanted to refresh my memory before playing to vol.3 so i prefer to watch this and skip all the cutscenes while i play vol. 2 again. Thank you for this!!

I just noticed something, even though in game, Haseo has a considerable amount of experience using his avatar, especially against other avatars, Atoli due to the raw power of her epitaph was able to keep up in terms of speed, and power compared to Haseo, who at this point had devoured quite a few of the other epitaphs, Atoli's epitaph is really in a league of its own.

To be fair, she had both her Avatar (2nd Phase - Innis, the Mirage of Deceit) and AIDA combined, so the power would likely be amplified considerably. But, at it's core, this just goes to show that emotions are a driving force of Avatars, and the stronger a person "feels", the more that reflects on the Avatar. If you've played through Volume 3: Redemption, you might notice something like that with the holder of Fidchell, the Prophet.

It's just my headcanon but I think Epitaph Users' PC are special, their power (including PC's combat and Avatar) highly affect by their mind and emotion. That's one of the reason why Haseo become the strongest player.

Can we talk about how much Jojo's his player probably watches, considering the poses and his theme sounds like a Jojo opening? Imagine a hypothetical man working for a certain game company, and this hypothetical man was REALLY into Jojo's and worked with the sound design team to implement that music whenever he strikes certain poses and it lasts until the hypothetical man enters an input. This hypothetical man might have even got the sound team pumped about this, making them giddy at the idea of a Jojo-esque hero defeating the hacker who has destroyed his pristine graphics and even distorted that teams music! Hypothetically speaking.

Honestly yeah, I know that the dialogue in this Quadrilogy leaves much to be desired and some parts feel like they needed more development like Alkaid joining us (She went from hating us to asking for help without so much as a "I need your help, you owe me" or even much thought into why is beating him in a tournament would somehow get him to chill without knowing about AIDA. I love her but that needed a bit of reworking.) The writers hit it out of the park with how they handled Endrance/Elk moving on from Mia and even why he loved her in the first place.

In The Worlds setting yes, she gets the love she deserves in ours though. I actually looked up best girl recently and she's consistently it. The only other competitors is a large pro-Atoli faction and a slightly smaller "Endurance for meme reasons" faction.

what an amazing game. In my oppinion the writing could have been slightly better at times and there are things where they could definitely have improved on but my God this series is definitely a top 5 greatest RPGs of all time contender. Especially with the 2017 remake. Here's my greatest RPG game list of all time, do with it what you want: 1. Septerra Core 2. .Hack G.U 3. Witcher 3 4. Deus Ex Mankind Divided (haven't played the others but this one was incredible)

​@blanktintin Yeah, Sakaki is like 10, which is surprising, but haseo is canonically like 17 in this game, and is infact the PK Sora from the original The World. who was data drained by Skeith. Which in turn caused his connection to skeith in this game. The lore is amazing in this series!

The early version of The World had characters with much less clothes, like only Pi does in this one. I still agree with you, though. If it was Bear maybe you could call him the "naked guy", Orca had a little more covered.

As much as I like Atoli better than some other girl characters, I really wanted her to die. I feel she needed it for her character. Though I was bitter I admit cause Matsu was first to die. Like brah. He's like our other friend in Moon Tree and first one to die in the line to Sakaki. Brah.
