Won't be no time and that green will be pure pure. That drone shot was sick. It's going down this summer at Spud Run

My favorite episode so far....I caddy at a club with immaculate greens....they were in excellent shape to begin the year and then we punched.....nice to see the whole process step by step

I would think that all of the US golf courses would get together and kick in a little $$ for you. Your entertaining and great content helps give the average golfer a glimpse of how much effort and material goes into golf course maintenance, which ultimately helps them to justify the ever increasing green fees across the country. I know that I never appreciated all that has to be done. I hate paying more to play golf, but at least I understand a little better why. You are the golf course documentary that they never produced. Well done and good luck this season!

We top dress with the sand first, punch the green let it dry out in the sun then brush it in. Raise the mower reels for a week or 2 otherwise you will just pick up the sand. Greens will be little slow But when you do lower the reels back down after a few mows they will be great! Yea if that is the first time with something that heavy on the green that is the issue. And I would use the golf cart to brush in the sand. Those 4 wheeler tires are not easy on the green. Really looks great have a great golf season looking forward to new videos this summer!

@@SpudRunGolf I loved it! I actually lived in the back of the pro shop which was a 100+ year old house. Woke up each morning 5:30ish cut greens. Opened the shop at 7:00 and when the pro showed up around 8 then I’d go out and take care of the other duties. At lunch come in and handle club repair and run shop while pro gave lessons and grabbed lunch. I’d take the next 2-4 hours off come back and close up when the last player or sunset happened. Ball picker had lights so I’d pick the range after hours. Oh the stories!! If KZbin was a thing back then it would have made for a great

the tire ruts are normal after aeration. The aerator lifts the turf and root zone as well as punching holes. the tracks are just the tires pushing down the freshly lifted surface. Every green, including established ones will have tracks from the wheels. just roll the green every day for 5-9 days after then start cutting. also don't roll wet sand, it builds on the rollers and will imprint the green as you do a pass.
