Some of these things are useful tricks that are in use. Others look like solutions in search of a problem. Removing the core of a motor and turning it into a sanding tool was a total waste of time. It would have been better to use a wooden dowel. That telescoping T-shaped stool looks like an accident waiting to happen.

My Godfather, Zobrist Ernst from Brienz/BE in Switzerland, invented and patented the ZOBO Drill in 1965. This Drill prevented Woods from fraying out by the exit of the Drill and you doesn't need any fancy things for it. You can Google it, that's the truth. I spend every Summer and Winter holidays at his Home.In Summer we went often fishing on the Lake Brienz and in the Winter i was skiing on the Axalp or Sörenberg. He died in 2022 with age 73 and i miss him very much. He was a real little Edison and always tried to improve or invent Tools or Fishing material. He had a Rottweiler name "Burga" and i loved her dearly. My father never allowed me to have a Dog, that's probably the reason why i enjoyed it so much to spend time with her...

Aside from the knobs put on that garbage can top to prevent it from ludicrously ROLLING DOWN THE STREET! I haven’t a clue as to what 98% of any of this stuff is, or what it’s for??? And I somehow sat through all of it!!!

Oh I think this was intended to everyday improvement for practical people
