This is a good nostalgic project for anyone who wants to relive the old 68k Mac days.

Great job! I had the same problem with some of the programs on the MicroMac. I looked up the errors, and they too pointed to lack of memory. I'm pretty sure Frogger shouldn't need to write to the SD Card as soon as it starts... so I think the writable volume thing might be a red-herring. I'll be interested to hear the cause if you do figure it out.

it seems like an easier to solder take on the Homebrew box. I approve.

Looks like I’m going to have to build a PicoMicroMac of some sort soon!

@@jdmcs They are really neat. I set up Ron's v1 board during our last makerSpace open house and folks had a great time playing around with it.

I miss the old quarterly publications. 2600 was awesome. I need to get the compendium if they still have it for sale. That would be sweet. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Great reminder. 🤙🏾

Had a quick break and decided to use the time to watch. Love this Hackerbox and very retro! I continue to be amazed at what's possible with the Pico and can't wait to see what they do with the new Pico with Wi-Fi. Good background info too. Appreciate the shoutouts to Ron and Eric. Oh man, tiny soldering points! Great tip on the VIA soldering. Dude! First try. That sure wouldn't be my experience. 😆Includes USB hub! Sweet. Question: Other than the complete kit, any reason for me to purchase beyond having Ron's kit?

@@retroCombs Thanks for watching! Indeed on the Pico. So many awesome projects take advantage of it. Interested to see what happens with the 2050 now. I'd say if you want that sweet color pcb snag one.😄 Functionality wise though they should be the same I'd think.
