Hey, I was watching your video and the last match replay I do believe I can help you understand why he killed the Blackbeard. I do believe he was cheating if he did have a 2.7 KD in diamond lobbies on PC with cheaters being a huge thing. But with the Blackbeard case, if you slow the speed down by .5 on siege and 0.25 on KZbin you can see Blackbeard's gun barrel very little but you still can see it. I am not saying he wasn't cheating but I'm saying with the Blackbeard that was maybe a legit kill. If anybody else can explain to me if that is debris or something else please do I would appreciate it. Have a great day!

Kixware did not steal the defuser. The cheat is actually worse. Kixware did CHANGE team to pick up the Defuser (notice how he discovered the Bomb) and then changed back to Defender after the Plant.

Something I have been saying for more than 5 years is that when R6 started getting really popular back in 2017-2019, they really really needed to pump a lot of those records profits back into the game to make a new engine dedicated specifically to R6, so that the game would no longer be on the same ANVIL engine used for Assassins Creed 2(2009) and so that they could implement all the checks and balances needed for a very very aggressive anti cheat system. Clearly Ubisoft didn't do this which is such a shame, the game truly back then had the chance to be among the biggest in the world, it used to regularly sit in the top 4-5 games played on steam a few years ago, now its lucky to be in the top 30 or even 50 most games play sometimes. It really breaks my heart for this game. The anti cheat they use, BattleEye if implemented properly isn't even that bad, its that the Anti Cheat is useless when used with such a deprecated game engine that its difficult to implement many things. It doesn't help that Ubisoft also uses the lowest tier of BattleEye for R6. I do think that a different company should own the IP to R6 other than ubisoft. On one hand yes having a large company around to foot the bill can help but those large companies take way more than they give, and they do that by cutting all kinds of corners and neglecting the IP to make a quick buck. This is mainly why I do think in the next 10 years that multiplayer video games are probably on their way out as a whole as well as AAA games. The quality of AAA games these days is exceptionally low and most multiplayer games are games that should have been a DLC to a release a few years prior or were games that should have been single player shoe horned into multiplayer titles so the companies can attempt to make a Game As A Service model and also never let the game slide below its launch price of 60 bucks to discourage people from waiting for it to go on sale/clearance all while cashing in on the quick dollar of the Financial Quarter it launched before placing it on life support and then abandoning it. None of this will change for a long time until the entire market/sector collapses and all the big names go under. When that happens there will be room for more grassroots indie devs to expand and make good games for a period of time before the whole process repeats.

The thing about Thorn's gadget is, you can just run by it, but with the delay it takes to trigger, running back where you came from is super risky, so you want to put it in spots where continuing to walk away is dangerous, and running back where you came from is impossible. The one in this clip was bad because Finka triggered it, walked down the room, and no one was there to contest her while she was forced into a less desirable spot.

On console Siege isn't too bad. Ony my Series X it runs 4k 60fps no problem. Worst type of cheating I have experienced was DDos, but that was just a few times over past 2 years. Smurfing is pretty bad though.

yo @VarsityGaming i was actually the player SoggyMommy in game from the first match where he was planting the bomb on defense i only came to this video because a buddy of mine who i was playing with at the time was mindblown while casually watching youtube while using the toilet and he said i was in one of you're videos i was mindblown when i saw this video beeing made because that was personally one of the worst matches of siege i have yet to experience as a player with over 2,000 hours and play daily since the beta of siege i really do not want this game going to its lowest of times just because of the current hacking situation in siege i hope this video reaches out to more people maybe even a dev of the game but planting as a defender team killing his entire team most rounds without getting kicked shooting while defusing the bomb after he planted it and also shooting through hard walls is not acceptable i hope ubisoft can do something soon about this problem much love for taking you're time exposing these nerds! much love from SoggyMommy

@VarsityGaming I sent in video evidence directly to Ubi on the Kixware_enjoyer player a couple weeks ago. Within seconds of the round starting, they knifed their own teammate and proceeded to knife everyone else across the map within seconds (including me) from spawn. They also had flying drones in the sky way above the tall tower on Oregon when I went back to match replay. I looked at their R6 tracker stats last night and they were finally marked as banned. They were also teamed up with another player in the match against me that got banned as well.

My fiancee has been noticing a lot of suspicious plays in Siege. Such as last night, Finka went to climb the ladder in the back spawn to Presidential Plane and the moment she got on the short latter to head to the Luggage part of the plane she was shot to death. Nobody came outside on that side of the plane, and those that were outside couldn't have killed her from where they were, they were also fighting the two other operators. She was shot from directly ahead as he was standing right behind her. When we went to watch the match at the end of the game it refused to load and instead booted him from the game altogether. His friend also tried to rewatch it on his own console and the same thing happened.

I know it’s more complicated in a large game, but it really seems like the anti-cheat just needs a switch statement. So maybe if someone gets 5 kills in the first 10 seconds of a round they get autobanned. Or if they get a kill without their weapon. Or if their movement is faster than sprinting

Honestly, anyone using cheats should be charged and face jail time if used maliciously like this. Varsity's question of "how can ubisoft let this happen" is fucking ignorant as shit. Hackers are legit just finding better and more complicated ways to go over game protection systems. It's actually one of the worst possible times shit's going because the hackers are finding more and more ways to overcome their anticheat. Valorant/riot tried to overcome this by literally installing an anticheat that acts almost like firmware on your computer as it launches on startup and if you delete it, you cant play their game. But it's also a way they can stop most hacks but not all, so even that system is having issues. Dude, idk how people can ask stupid questions like "how can x company not stop this" when it's a literal arms race which is hindered depending on whst kind of anticheat you have for your game... If you really want to stop them theyd have to do something like riot did but again, even then it doesnt stop ir completely.

This just goes to show that you don't know anything about programming or how cheats work. I'm a programmer myself (i dabbled in developing cheats but thats not for me, never got good enough to make one for a game like siege) and I have multiple friends who develop cheats. The amount of stupid cheats people can do in siege is INSANE! Not having to reload, silent aim, shooting with different guns than the user has equipped, etc. There are almost no other games where you can do things of that caliber. There is no way to stop more traditional cheats like aim bot, wall hacks, etc because the server HAS to tell the client where the players are, and aim is entirely client sided. Ridiculous cheats such as changing teams, picking up the defuser and planting, and then changing back shouldn't ever be possible. Same thing goes with flying, speedhack, killing your teammates with a knife and not getting reverse friendly fire, should not be possible. Those are all prevented very easily by server side checks which cheats can do nothing about. For some reason, ubisoft just doesn't have these sorts of checks. It would be understandable if there were a couple of mistake that got patched out quickly, or people would occasionally find a weird bypass that is also patched out quickly, but there are not just a few. It shouldn't be possible to knife your teammates. There should have already been SERVER SIDED CODE (which the cheaters have NO CONTROL OVER) that says "okay, player 1 just killed player 2 with a knife even though they are on the same team. That shouldn't happen, so I will kick them from the server / flag them to be banned". Same thing with speed hacks, "huh, player 1 is running 3x as fast as normal, I will kick them from the server / flag them to be banned / teleport them backwards. This is entirely a SIEGE ISSUE. If you look at valorant, apex legends (a FREE GAME), fortnite (also a FREE GAME), CS:GO, and even MINECRAFT, they all have these sorts of checks in place. Its literally harder to cheat on hypixel than siege. Nobody is flying around mowing people down with 1000 bullets in apex, valorant, or fortnite (and if they did at one point, it was fixed quickly and never re introduced). As for valorant, vanguard (the anti cheat) is a kernel level anti cheat. You know what also is a kernel level anti cheat? BATTLEYE! They have the same permissions to the computer that vanguard and easyanticheat, but it is just so much worse. The only reason there was any scare about vanguard is because their kernel driver is running 24/7 instead of just when the game is open. That isn't entirely necessary though, as easyanticheat doesn't do this and is miles better than battleye. And its not "basically firmware", its a kernel level anticheat. You have lots of kernel level drivers already installed on your system. You have a ton of kernel level drivers from microsoft, your graphics card, anti virus, anti cheat (pretty much every major anti cheat has kernel level), people just hear a buzzword and take off with it. "How can ubisoft not stop people from spinning at 1000000 RPM, having a 30.0KD, switching teams mid round, shooting people without looking at them, knifing teammates, etc" is a very valid question. Pretty much every other major game can, so why can't they? Ubisoft servers trust the client too much, if they did more checks on what the client is sending them and whether or it should be possible, siege wouldn't have all of these crazy cheats. They would still of course have the typical aimbot and wallhack cheaters, but these insane cheats wouldn't be a thing. They are preventable SERVER SIDE, something ubisoft has FULL CONTROL over and can't be modified by cheaters. Also, making people face jail time for cheating is an absolutely laughable proposal. You really think people should serve 3 months in prison for making your experience in a videogame worse? If anything, the cheat developers are who the companies need to go after. They are making hundreds of thousands of dollars (literally) by creating cheats for their game. If you sell a cheat for 60 dollars a month and get 500 users, you are making $30,000 a month. These people make ridiculous amounts of money, but instead you want to charge some 13 year old who bought cheats off discord with their moms paypal. Absolutely braindead take all around.

FYI I reported a website to Ubi and other companies that was actively promoting hacking in Siege and other games, not sure what exactly will happen about it or how much it affects the hacking but something should.

The 3rd match is the perfect example of a player only being good at 1 thing in R6. That guy looked hella sus on defense than became completely opposite on a the other side. Ik ash players who can rush 2 rounds and look insane than fall off the face of the earth for the rest of the game. Everytime i see defense first i just give players who rush out the benefit of the doubt first. After a 1:30 goes by tho and ppl aren’t always in predictable positions it becomes hella obvious who hacking and who doesn’t touch grass.

cheaters are also on the console and I'm not talking about mk. today I was playing ranks with my friend, until the third round everything was fine when suddenly the guy shot 3 people in the head by shooting from the hip. in the replay of the match it was obvious that he was watching through the walls where someone was, the problem with cheetars is much bigger, especially since we do not play for high ranks, only gold / platinum and the worst thing is that on consoles nobody does anything about it, because everyone says that you can not cheat

Considering there is no way to inject info into consoles with it keeping online capabilities im going to call that cap. People say you can’t because their isn’t a method to do so atm 😂 you probably encountered a match replay bug or are lying in a KZbin comment

I think a large issue with console is they seem to add things to pc and then now add it to console till later for example fov only just now got added match re play same and I think a lot of it was hardware based cus u know the ps4 and xbox one ain’t equipped to run well but especially on the new consoles it’s dumb that until recent I had to play at 60 fov now at 90 it’s a lot lot better match replay is cool also fixing things like mnk I think a big thing for that would be add cross play and make console players who are on mnk play against pc that would do crazy things for console also this would definitely be only for new console but add the ability to tone down graphics to have fps on my pc I always play 1080 for fps game cus it makes 0 dif if I ply 4K or 1080 maybe if I am playing rdr2 yea definitely want graphics don’t care much about fps but that would be a cool feature for console also r6 is not very demanding gpu wise so the consoles have the power not the ps4 and Xbox one but the 5 and x should be allowed to

Ubi probably didn't install any failsafes for any of these new cheats. the cheat manufacturer notice it and make cheat out of this. And I don't think make a failsafe right now is possible. Fixing any of this might just open another loophole. I think Siege code must be spagetti code by now so it is likely that the main reason why they have to pull back from putting more content into the game. Fixing current problem AND adding new content would require more manpowers than the team currently have. At least this is what I think.

We played against the kixware_enjoyer guy from the first match in unranked a few days ago they lost the first round in less then a minute then he turned the hax on was utter shite without them even got killed with them once we spent the match staying outside with shields to waste his time

I've played the game for 700 hours on PC and I can't think of the last time I encountered a cheater of any kind in casual. It's extremely rare.
