Not a financially stable job and winning a lot of money do not happen often. Few elite hunters can make six figures a year, but considering that almost all cybersecurity professionals earn that much in 5-10 years automatically and do not have to be the "few elite" makes full-time bug bounty hunting a less lucrative job. However, this is a field where you can be free from the corporate 9-6 life and do what you truly love. It might not be as glamorous as shown in this video, but it is definitely a very cool job.

Absolutely, a good strategy would be having a mixture of both (stable job, unstable side-hustle) eventually moving to the other side where we have growing wealth (owned business, portfolio of investments) without having a single point of failure to financial security Time, energy, and focus are critical to make that happen. And let's not neglect our health! 💚

What do you mean? Half of the people who appeared in the video are full-time Red Teamers, and they do bug bounty part-time. Making a thoughtless comment won't make you look smart. Also, using Burp Suite is not a weakness. If you try to reinvent the wheel, you might fail miserably. Burp is just a tool, and its effectiveness depends entirely on the user. Some top hunters don't create their own tools simply because they don't need to. Bug hunting, in some cases, is more challenging than Red Teaming operations. The bug hunting world is vast and complex. As for your claim that "they will get busted within seconds," that's a big disrespect. You shouldn't make such dismissive comments. Additionally, your comment has likely given others the wrong impression about bug bounty hunters and hackers. Everyone with a hacker's mindset is a hacker, including Blue Teamers. If you’re trying to roast Blue Teamers, know this: working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) is far from child's play. I hope you’ll show more respect to others moving forward. Being a Red Teamer doesn’t mean you can judge someone’s skills without actually seeing their work on that topic.
