A gorgeous day for wandering the trails. Rainbow Falls is/are beautiful. Seems that the awesome large bridge is because anything smaller gets washed away. : ) Thanks for the vid. Happy tramping!

I didn't realize I had missed this video when posted. I was in the ICU with covid for a week. Despite both pfizer shots 6 months ago and a antibody infusion I am still recovering from covid/pneumonia. It's day 48 since my first symptoms and I am getting a little stronger everyday. Loved the waterfall!

Sorry to hear you were ill and glad you are now recovering! Vaccine rollout has been slower here in New Zealand, but I got my second shot of Pfizer today.

I was lucky to survive. I am also one of the 14% of covid victims to develop diabetes. Hopefully it will go into remission within a year or less. I didn't have to change my diet at all for the diabetes, I was already on a heart healthy diet. The pneumonia is lingering but as I said, it is getting a little better. I signed up for the booster shot for next week. I am dreaming about getting back to the outdoors!

Lol, we go outdoors very often, so not going on one overnighter to do other things isn't a big deal :) (and to be honest I kinda wanted to get out by myself for a night, a goal at which I failed... so there's that too)

Sadly whispering falls was destroyed in this year’s floods by a massive landslide. Very little left.

Oh I didn't realise! That's a real shame, they were beautiful. We live very close by and were planning on taking Raiden's parents to visit sometime in the next few weeks, but we'll have to change the plans 🙃
