Don't forget that engage works on shield and heal sides too. You can engage armorer so he gives double the buff, for example.

It's sorta fucked up how weird some of the greens are - like you said some of them are just game-warping in how they work, like vessel or luggage or housecat. And while it is avoidable on the party select, if you have a green in your party it's basically inescapable, it's where they put statue and twin, you are GOING to have goofy shit on your team. The only thing approaching normality among the greens is like, maybe the dice hero at T3

I clicked on the taint and the curse he gave me was an item that said, "must equip replace 4 slots with 4 damage self target an ally that's not yourself". Meaning the curse literally killed a character

Yeah, it's indirectly nerfed a lot of characters that felt significant for giving early access to consistent 4-damage.

Not really? 4 damage still kills a Bones and that's always been the most relevant part. Ghosts are less numerous than bones, imps, zombies and what not and Shades in general are rare, 4 is still the most relevant damage threshold

I've had some great success with Presence. The Cruel/Deathwish side is amazing since you often get a lot of situations where you can double effects twice by targeting a character that is dying and then they in turn can double their effect by target another thing that's dying as well. Had some really crazy runs where I use heal/mana sides on red heroes for massive value.

Its really funny to me that Voyix put the Eggshell on Assassin by the end, and then hit Hexia with her poison side and didn't notice that it doesn't apply poison because both the pain *and* poison were zeroed

Tainted is not usually worth picking, but his time to shine is when he's offered in a really defensive team that just really wants big damage output, because Tainted has some of the highest damage sides in the game and a lot of health, but the curse is real risky

Heaven also has gotten way better since 3.0 there is so much cool stuff to do! you can pick massive curses and add Ace while game still stays challenging

Squared sounds like a seriously overpowered keyword if it means what I think it means. Think of it as x -> x^2 for the pips, so 0 and 1 stays at 1, but 2 becomes 4, 3 becomes 9, and so forth. God help the enemy who gets hit with it at 4 or more...

I think you gotta take your time a little bit, there are some interactions here that you completely missed. Like putting pocket phylactery on pilgrim is completely free, whereas putting it on ranger is quite bad. You can zero it out on ranger but you take an extra poison and the poison on her middle side no longer works. Also I think mimic is very good now, not only is he super tanky but a t2 but he takes the best or 2nd best side from 4 of your characters a lot of the time.

Shifter is not nearly as bad a keyword as it looks; there's bad hits for certain, awful hits too! But there's also, SSS tier hits, like "PartyGROWWWWWWWWWWTH", which gives ALL HEROES +1 PIP TO ALL SIDES FOR THE WHOLE COMBAT

You go both cart and an extra heroes. Sounds like a great loot setup actually. You don't all of your heroes to be high level, some second-level guys are very good at holding items. Not that great with your curse, though.

My impression of 3.0 hard difficulty is that t2 and t3 heroes are bit stronger, t1 are bit weaker, and curses are bit harsher. Overall, feels bit easier until bad set of curses end your streak.
