Always love your videos. I have been doing modular synth for about 4 years now and you have hacked and help me understand key musical concepts I use all the time. Thank you. I would love to see a similar video around Zimmer!

I love these videos about "minimal" music. There is so much going on that what is happening is easy to miss. The music itself creates a "rain" effect, and yet to understand it one needs to listen to the individual drops.

Thanks for always coming up with interesting topic. I just talked with my piano teacher today on how to already work with my small melody motives while still being at the beginning of my learning journey. And then he mentioned Philip Glass. And now there’s your video. Just amazing 🤯🤩

I love Philip Glass. There's such an entrainment effect; the propulsive chords, undistracted by melody or fast runs, can be so hypnotic.

Thank you, I found this really helpful and inspiring. I started my journey a few weeks ago and your videos have really been a blessing in helping me understand music more deeply, Philip Glass was the reason I wanted to write and play music! Cheers again

I'm a crappy pianist but a decent musician and I want to give you some props on how easy and inspiring your videos are. Usually leave with an idea I want to explore or a novel chord change or, at the very least, come away feeling a little less at sea from a music theory perspective. Your enthusiasm is so genuine too. Appreciate these, man.

I just unpacked my vinyl after many years of storing them in paper bags - a Glass album, a North Star reissue, happens to lie on top of an unsorted stack on one of the shelves, just begging to be played.

I was playing The Outerworlds the othwr day and was totally entranced by the minimalist music going on. It was so pretty and hypnotic! Had to just stop playing and trance out for a minute. Haha

Always thought that Max Richter's main theme for The Leftovers (which I also love) was very much inspired by (or stolen from) The Truman Show score.
