A simple mind hack to increase opioid (pleasure) and dopamine (arousal) levels in the brain. (and all noninvasive!) Just follow a simple resting protocol (mindfulness procedure is best for this), and simultaneously pursue or anticipate pursuing meaningful behavior (e.g. cleaning house, writing poetry, exercise, etc.). Do this continuously for standard sessions of a least a half hour and chart the number of sessions. That’s it. As a result, you will be more pleasurably alert, engaged, and incented to continue being productive and resist distraction. Neurologically, this is due to ‘opioid-dopamine’ interactions, or the fact that rest is pleasurable due to the induction of opioid activity in the brain. Meaningful activity on the other hand induces dopaminergic activity, which is felt as a state of alert arousal but NOT pleasure. Opioid and dopamine neurons are located adjacently in the midbrain, and when both are simultaneously activated will also co-stimulate each other, resulting in enhanced feelings of arousal and pleasure. Indeed, when rest is accompanied by highly meaningful behaviors (creating art, athletic achievement), pleasure and alertness are highly accentuated, resulting in ‘peak’ or ‘flow’ experiences. So, there is my procedure to increase dopamine level, impart a sense of joy, and be a lot more productive, give or take an hour! I offer a more detailed explanation in pp. 47-52, and pp 82-86 of my open source book on the neuroscience of resting states, ‘The Book of Rest’, linked below. www.scribd.com/doc/284056765/The-Book-of-Rest-The-Odd-Psychology-of-Doing-Nothing This above book is based on the work of the distinguished neuroscientist Kent Berridge of the University of Michigan, a preeminent researcher and authority on dopamine, addiction, and motivation, who was kind to vet the work for accuracy and endorse the finished manuscript. what happens if that procedure it's been done without pior autorization, and it is destroying your health , enviroment and life at the same time 24/7 , and it is used as a weapon, there might be another level causing also damage such as strokes , hearth attacks, remote electrocutions, using someone to sacrifice, personally i would like to share that knowing too much hurts, and it will hurth to the ones that get to that particular point, at this particular moment of my life i believe that this technology one day will go out of control, it will crash destinies, driving our path along this journey, and we will finally lose the most precious freedom , that is our free will, we'll be droven the way that the biggest money wants to take us. for lots of people this is still a fantasy, however, it is real and it is a truth fact that one day it will go out of control to the highest economical interest and then that day that albert einstein predicted, it will arrive, we will be controlled as puppets. personally i feel it, my best regards from mexico k...

1:06:00 Wow, a sales pitch turns into a dystopian call to monitor people's thoughts and actions on a mass scale by connecting their brains to the internet. All at a Bioethics panel. I love how this guy thinks having a degree and a company somehow gives him authority to know or decide what 'must' be done to the population at large. This is the kind of petty wanna-be tyrant that ends up creating so many problems and nuisances for the rest of humanity. Really reminds me of some HOA board member or other local elected official with a god-complex that couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag. I would advise he takes up a productive hobby instead of trying to enslave the world because he was picked on in high school. Seriously dude, get a life.

I liked the focused ultrasonic brain stimulation thing. Can someone give me some good reading material or a good educational video on the subject? PS. Please
