I really like how you demonstrated the use of the Alfa and aircrack ng to hack wifi

great video , the main problem is that beside English speaking countries where you can use word lists like rockyou , in most areas of the world the word lists for their specific languages is just so hard to make/find or straight up non existant sometimes.
@pamoutaf2 ай бұрын
Hey! Thank you! Yes indeed although for work we also use a lot of custom word lists from different languages, and we use tools to build our own custom wordlist. You throw in the country name, cities, and random words in that language until you build a solid custom wordlist 😅
@Lulxec2 ай бұрын
@@pamoutaf you are most welcome, good luck with the channel, could you please link or mention some of these sources / tools ? I've had this problem and i'm in the process of making a tool that creates such custom wordlists with the C language, could be great if there's already some tools to do that ot of the box.
@pamoutaf2 ай бұрын
@@Lulxec yes of course! you can use CeWL or WordlistGPT (chatGPT). You can also check SecList as they have extensive wordlists. I haven't tried this one but you can check CWFF on github :) GL!

Sorry I'm very new to this, but the wifi adapter is not necessary if the laptop can already connect to wifi right? Or am I missing something?
@pamoutafАй бұрын
So normally your VM doesn’t have access to wifi card, your VM is in NAT and so you only get the « wifi » from your host. So you need a wifi card adapter thingy to search for WiFi’s :)

This is not simple dear what if password is not simple it’s uses Caps small number and symbols so it’s very difficult or if password is more than 10 so it’s not possible even you deauth
@pamoutafАй бұрын
Yes exactly. This video is a proof of concept :) and you can add rules to password lists (One rule to rule them all) to handle cases like this

Are you using a VM and spoofing your IP and MAC before scanning the network and attempting to deauth and capture a handshake? Or are you attacking your own network?
@pamoutafАй бұрын
In this example I was attacking my own network (i explain it in the video I think) and this was just a PoC and for fun! :)
