HACKTICK! is a band of five boys from Wilayah Tong Sampah that plays pop-punk in the hopes of amending the world’s condition. The band’s music discusses a wide range of topics such as social and environmental issues, depression, self-help, love, and friendship to name a few.
Despite staying true to their punk roots, HACKTICK! tends to fuse different elements of genres in each of their songs to feed their creative needs. They have mixed pun music with pop, alternative rock, hardcore punk, metal, reggae, ska, and traditional Malay, and are planning to mix other elements in their future songs.
The band is known for their super energetic performances and maniacal stage antics that can draw the attention of even the gloomiest of crowds, and pump their spirits up. The best way to experience HACKTICK! is to witness them alive.
