Dude my godfather was the vice president of American can company wayyyyy back in the 40s-50s in L.A. he had a can identical to the blue one! He said they were prototypes never marketed!!!! You may have a prototype look into it. They may be worth quite a bit.

When I was a kid in the 70s some friends and I used to collect beer cans. We would go "dumping", which meant looking for old illegal dumps in the woods where people would throw their trash. We would find nice old beer cans, including flat tops from the 50s, but the holy grail were cone tops. I never found any but some friends up north who collected did :)

When I see something I know is fake or just wrong, I try to help people out. Mostly they tell me to take a trip to a hot place and I don't mean Florida, but some appreciate it. Conversely, people do try to help me out quite often as well, I can't know everything about every kind of item I run across. The Randix is cool, but from what I've read about it, it needs a higher end cartridge, and can take one if you want to put one on it. Not the only maker to do something like this, for a time Sony made something similar, so did some other makers Most had a fold down piece that was square, not a piece that folds out like this one. There is another thing out there that is basically a bar of plastic with the drive and tone arm in it, but must be connected to an amp via the line out jacks to hear much. Any way you look at it, this is cool tho.

I have experienced when buyer sends an message and points that my item is listed in wrong category. I once messages the seller who misspelled expensive designer bag brand.
@tootall55596 жыл бұрын
@@eneiles I don't know about other people, but I appreciate whatever help I can get. Sometimes, I list things at such a high price nobody's going to consider buying them, but just ask for information. Often I get it, so I can price and list exactly what it should be. I have found things that I didn't know what they heck they were, sometimes nobody seems to know. Generally I can help others identify old things because I'm old and have been around older things most of my life. I actually need more help with newer items.
