Hi Steve,. The TRX is looking badass and you are a lucky man. Regarding lifting to clear tires I don't think solves the problem on any Ram, or other brands. Start by cutting a crescent of the pinch weld away. Then try heating the fender liner with a heat gun and use a large metal object, like a big spoon, to press out the inner fender well after heating. Hold after heat removed to let it cool in the new position. I did this with my Power Wagon. I still think the level lift was a good idea despite this tire clearance issue.

Hi John, 💯. We ended up grinding a little bit of the pinch welds, removing the wheel liners, heating them up w/ heat gun & reforming the rub area. This solved 99% of it in combination of the leveling kit. There’s only very slight rub at full drivers side turn now.

Good video, you must be a Licensed Mechanic yourself you seemed to know exactly how to do it? I had the Rogue Off Road levelling kit installed by my local shop, they put in only the lower collars as many TRX guys from the forum recommended. I still found it a tiny bit nose high so after a while I ordered those same Foutz spacers you put in and got my shop to add those, now she sits pretty near perfect. I’m considering 37s now, trying to find something that really catches my eye in terms of the wheel.

I thought the leveling spacers was the wrong and cheap way to go?? What happened with the Thuren kit with the fox shock set up?? Would think that would be a much better ride. By the way the truck looks good!!

These are actually preload spacer collars, not the cheaper spacers that mount on top of the strut. There are limited options for the TRX & ThurenFab isn’t one of them.

If they rub then they do not fit. Trimming and cutting does not equal fitting. I personally would have left the 35s.
