Haddaway - Life Nestor Alexander Haddaway (born January 9, 1965), better known mononymously as Haddaway, is a Trinidadian-born German vocalist and musician best known for his 1993 hit single "What Is Love". Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Haddaway moved to the Washington, D.C. area at the age of nine, where he grew up to the sounds of Louis Armstrong, which encouraged him to learn how to play trumpet at the age of 14. He attended Meade Senior High School. This eventually resulted in him forming his first group which he called Chances. Haddaway moved to Cologne, Germany in 1987 where he mostly worked in bars. Later, he formed his own company, Energy, which was involved in organizing fashion shows and photo-shoots. Haddaway's break came in 1992 when he was signed by German label Coconut Records. His debut single "What Is Love"

This is a very cood remix I find

this is a great mix with enhanced base (doof doof), an excellent club rave mix. however the doof doof break from 2.58 to 3.58 is way too long and should be split into two or three shorter breaks of 15-20secs through out the whole song. also its mostly an instrumental with basically one line of the lyrics repeated, almost gets boring. the original song could be split and inserted in a couple of places to break the monotony of the mix whilst retaining the enhanced doof doof and at the same time extend the mix out to 8 or 9 mins which would make an already great mix absolutley bloody awesome, almost legendary and do fantastic justice to haddaways original song. just my opinion the way i see it. but i do agree with others, this is the best ive heard.
