This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Disney’s 1997 Hercules Version of Hades Voiced by James Wood who did a Legendary Performance Bringing My Second Favorite Disney Antagonist’s to life.

I finally watched Hercules (much to the shock of my childhood friend and his sister), and I absolutely loved Hades. James Woods was absolutely incredible, and he fit the role like a glove.

The reason I included clips from the show for Jafar is that I count them as Canon to his movie, but since Hades in the show knows about Hercules being alive waaaaay before he learns it in the movie I think the show is a different timeline. (or the writers forgot about that idk xd) but anyways that's the reason I decided not to include clips from the show. It might be a stupid reason, but it's still a reason. 😁 Maybe one day I'll make an All Media Hades video and then I'll include those too, Idk.

I must confess that several of your musical selections surprise me, because I think they reflect some facet of the characters that is somewhat ignored (like your Bane video with Diary Of Jane, for example), and it still fits very well! Great job for this iconic Disney villain! 👍

In my personal opinion, Hades isn't a villain, I mean, think about it: He was practically forced to be the god of the underworld, while his brother (I think) Zeus got to live it up in Paradise, it makes sense that he'd want to take Zeus out of the picture in order to get what he understandably believes he rightfully deserves.

I mean, wouldn't that also mean Scar isn't a villain either? He only wanted to be a king which he had every right to. Hades and Scar both had good reason but their actions made them villains from the movies point of view.

Only their motives were similar, their personalities were different. Also Ursula is kinda similar to them too now that I think about it. But honestly a lot of Disney villains motive were related to feeling left out. It's a Disney thing I guess. Xd
