HADES TAKES ASCENDANT MIDAS PRISONER! (Fortnite Short Film)

Hey, everyone! Lead Writer here, again! The penultimate episode of Myths and Mortals is here! The story we've been setting up this season is nearing its climax! The script for this episode was a collaboration between both PrtyProductive and myself. I mapped out the basics of what would happen, PrtyProductive wrote it out, and I came back in to do some adjustments to make it fit the writing of the rest of the series so far. A word about some of the missing characters this season- I know people have been asking about Marigold and Jules. Unfortunately, they will not be appearing. Writing this series on the fly, keeping track of the in-game story and adapting it within the short time period we had to work with, all while balancing the elements that I wanted to include, was quite difficult. The fact that we had to protrude the Myths and Mortals season into the in-game Wrecked season shows how strapped for time we were. Remember-our team is comprised of only four people. So, I had to leave certain elements of the in-game story out, unfortunately. I will say, however, that they canonically were involved in the story- Marigold remained on the Yacht to do research and coordinate missions, and Jules + Maya were working on tech and equipment. Jones and Hope did meet with them, just offscreen. In future, we might address these interactions. As for why Midas and crew left...stay tuned! I want to shout out our Midas VA, Prince, for his amazing and game-accurate voice! I hope we can work with him more in future! I hope you're hyped for our Myths and Mortals finale, coming next! Thanks, we wanted to stick close to actual Greek Mythology as much as possible with his character. While Hades is often portrayed as a villain in Popular Media, he's actually the most chill out of all the Greek Gods. So, we wrote him as such- intimidating at first, but kind of a cool guy once you get to know him.

Oh my goodness!!! One of the best episodes yet. Every part of hades was amazing. The voice acting amazing! But no Montague no!!!! But i hope he returns soon. Artemis x Montague isnt bad I'd say. She can get him from the underworld seening as he is alive in session 3. PS so sorry i was late. Lot of stuff going on. PPS i think i know where midas went to the outer islands to set off the volcanos.

That already happened in our storyline- As mentioned in Aphrodite's episode, they were lovers in the past, but she eventually broke up with him and fell in love with the mortal, Adonis. Ares wanted Aphrodite back, so he killed Adonis with a boar, and added the symbol of the animal to his cape as a reminder to everyone. Safe to say, this did not endear Aphrodite to Ares.

The Hades is a good guy which we kind of know if you read on Greek mythology he's not really a bad guy he's just the guardian of the underworld precipitate so he was a good husband when taking Hades as a romantic sap Boys East Colorado I mean managing all those souls to come down to the underworld who must be in chaotic nightmare

That’s the angle I was going for when writing. I’ve studied a lot of interpretations of Hades and while I think him and Persephone’s romance has become a little tired in recent interpretations, it’s also pretty reductive to just portray him as a villain because he preferred the Underworld to Olympus.
