why can't we load data directly to hdfs from application instead of loading data into RDBMS database

Hdfs is designed for high throughput of data access rather than low latency of data access. Therefore for quick access of database(low latency) which we require in real-time application we use rdbms instead of hdfs. Hdfs is designed more for batch processing rather than interactive use by users.
