I was surprised that he won, but the votes don't lie :) He performed really well, though i felt that "beautiful day" didn't showcase his full vocal range, especially the higher notes that he can hit so beautifully. not go that far? shes already been to sweden, recorded 7 songs there by the largest swedish recording company. she's been to korea, guested on Star King, and everyone was standing and shouting "wow" in awe, if you could only see the faces of Super Junior(korean boy band). and now she's invading America! she's been featured on the daily 10(on E!) twice, and the headline was "A QUEEN IS BORN!" on the hollywood royalty segment. she recently guested on Ellen Degeneres show, and a standing ovation!

6 years late but song was composed for the winner of the 2nd edition of Singapore Idol in 2006. Both finalists had to sing it then the winner will get to record it as his first single. So technically original singer is Hady himself. :)

Hady Mirza won LOL just as I thought.1st , Singapore has the most little population compared to other country.The votes r converted into percentage..eg Singapore has 5 million ppl,India 1 billion.1 singaporean vote=200 indian votes.LOL 2nd factor is everyone thought dat he has no chance to win , so everyone vote him for the 2nd choice LOL Well I've voted for Jac and some of my vote goes to him :P 3rd factor is dat he's as handsome as me , so all the girls as like "OMG it's hady mirza aaaah!"
