his injury was such a shock to many and to think that he had to skip on his very first concert and miss year-end awards, it left a painful sting to all. he is a dearly loved member and his absence was so hugely felt. but he came back better and did his best to gain back his good health. thankful to haechan, the members, and the fans who stayed strong through that sad time.

Meanwhile in early 2020 when he was really sick and had to miss one concert in their tour, it caught his members and fans offguard. Johnny, his roomate was freaked out seeing Haechan fell sick, he don't ever want to see him ever get sick again. Please, stay healthy and sleep properly Full Sun!

@@smiledaisy1010 whenever dream does vlives or some sort they sort of depend on Haechan for the flow of the content bec as entertainment artists they need to be entertaining, that's why u often see him teasing members it's for them to be included in interactions and funny moments or something. not just that but I really genuinely believe that a lot of members rely on him as a trusted friend (also bec most of nct are introverts 😭) that's why whenever members do vlives or sorts they mention Hc☺️ a lot. it's a testament to their bond that they really are good friends or if not, colleagues who respect and trust each other. Even Taeyong 😭 aka best leader said he depend on Hc too. in my 12 yrs as a kpop fan that's what I find different in Hc, I maybe flawed with my judgement but knowing it gives me a sort of comfort that they're decent people worthy of the attention they have.

He really got injured during a pivotal time they had their concert, end of year performances and Mark graduated from Dream. I remember it was hard to watch but I can't imagine how he must've felt. I wish there was a Jaemin ver. but I think no one was allowed to even talk about him

SM usually don't post about injuries after their first statement. This happened for Ten, Jaemin and Taeyong as well as Jungwoo when they went on hiatus it's to valued their artists privacy while recovering. Haechan's case was different. Haechan's Japanese fans were really asking for updates or else they will asked for refund. So SM posted a video clips when they didn't do it to Jungwoo when he missed concert schedules. Also it's such a pivotal time for NCT, it's 127 first major concert, year end performance, Haechan turning adult, Mark graduation from Dream. Everyone's really emotional to the point fans even named pudu after his name. The pudu was born the day Haechan was injured and kfans called him pudu too. It's also a first that they keep on calling him on their vlive while he was recovering. Other members choose to recover away from limelight but in Haechan's case the members keeps on including him by calling him on every vlive, he even attended concert in cast and performed songs for the fans. This makes fans really emotional and attached cause he choose to recover in the limelight. Just like what Defcon said other idols will choose to not show up cause it will make them more depressed cause they're injured and can't perform. Haechan on the other hand choose to show up. He got a very strong mentality. He handled his injuries differently from the norms. He gave constant updates, showed up even though he was limping with a cast. Put on a smiling face, his hyungs are crying for him but he never shed tears, he was really trying hard to contain himself from crying. Their Tokyo Dome concerts everyone was crying but Haechan try so hard not to cry publicly. It's obvious how 127 and Dream felt his loss, every nctzens can see how the neos were all sad. It's just really a sad phase. The reason why nctzens refused to talk about his injuries.

@@blam7477 I think Taeyong didn't mind to keep ppl updated since he did answer the phone to talk to fans but he wasn't given as many opportunities. Ten I think didn't have much of a choice because he wasn't in a set unit. Jungwoo and Jaemin seem to be the most private but also with Jaemin who knew if he would even still be signed to SM that was the fear. It would have been nice to know that SM is still counting him in and not leaving him behind

@@bxxx98 I was more of a casual fan back then so I don't know too much details but Jaemin hurt his back and was gone for a year plus. He was there for the debut and then gone for 2 or 3 cbs and they never mentioned him like they did with Haechan and Mark when they were gone. So it seemed like if he didn't get better in time they would cut him or maybe he wouldn't want to comeback or maybe his back would always be bad. But there was a lot of uncertainty

it must've been so hard for him because he really didn't open up about it until the mental boys camp and even the members didn't know much about his thoughts during that time and i feel so sorry about the whole thing yet so glad that he's doing better now.. i still think about that one video where mark asked him to talk about his feelings and thoughts more (?) and as someone who doesn't open up about my own feelings i wish it was better for him but i still find it understandable because i do the same.

thank you for addressing this bcos not many people know including myself when I was babyzen. it looks like fans didn't wanna talk about it bcos how upsetting it was, just like how haechan did... but I'm more curious and couldn't find the back story, so thank you for this video 🤧 as much as 127 was most affected by the absence of haechan, I think dreamies felt it worse cos they can't meet haechan that often since haechan always 127 on main. their faces are so bright as soon as they see haechan. it just unfair how haechan also couldn't join dream schedule most of the time cos they're overlap with 127. but thankfully our latest cb hot sauce they're present. wish that dream future schedule would be like this too 😢 sm clearly can manage it but they always took out haechan from dream

i wasn’t a fan of him back when he injured his legs/when he was super sick. but i can feel the sadness they went through, especially haechan himself:( he was so disappointed&devastated he couldn’t do the concert completely and dreamies missed him so much since he had so many schedules with their hyungs. i’ve been a fan of him for a year now. i’m so glad that i can have a chance to know him and become one of his sunflowers. i’m really thankful for him, for his existence, for his strength to motivate me, for being an inspiration, for everything he’s been through and the way he always reassures himself that everything’s gonna be okay. he’s the positivity that i really need the most now. i adore him with my whole heart. if i can have a chance to meet him one day, i’ll def tell him how he’s made&helped so many people’s day more beautiful each day💚🌻

3:07 I stanned Dreamies during May 2019 and been only getting ot5 contents since until this day, on Haechan’s bday, he just got back from their tour (i think) is the very first time I saw them as ot6...you all don’t know how much I feel so happy that day. It’s like the same as Dreamies, I missed him so much although I stanned quite late. I only see small cuts of his appearances and I was heart broken and felt so unfair for him because there were milestones during this time but he wasn't able to be there 100%. Among all clips here, it’s Jaemin’s excited/thrilled and happy expressions that made me happy. We all know how much they bicker around, but when this happened, we can see how Jaemin actually adored haechan, how his eyes lit up every time, how his smiles grow wider even though he’s teasing haechan… t’was the littlest things.
