As a multilingual, it honestly just happens without any thought. My brain just mixes all the languages and whatever words in that particular language that matches what is in my brain will naturally comes out

The worst thing is when you are NOT bilingual and forget words in your native language and know them perfectly fine in another one. It´s hella confusing for my parents when I randomly throw in English words in my native language because I don´t remember my mother tongue

Same here.... I can speak German perfectly fine but sometimes the englisch version is all I know. So I have to explain around it.. It's embarrassing😅😅

@@emj96Genau mein Problem :) ich erkläre meinem Mann irgendwas und schmeiß permanent englische begriff rein. Er hat sich dran gewöhnt aber wenn dann noch koreanische redewendungen reinfließen dann hört es auch bei seiner Geduld auf :)

@@bfbf7464 ja...genauso passiert mir das ständig. Nur kenne ich zu viele Personen, die kein Englisch sprechen und wenn man dann wie ein Auto angestarrt wird...🤣

I feel you ;-))))) mir fallen oft simple sachen nicht ein. Vokabular ist oft schon denglish. "Was willst du heute essen? Don´t wanna cook, ich geh erst morgen einkaufen." Hubby:"Schon klar, Schatz. Ist Mittwoch, guck ruhig Moonlight Chicken."

Growing up in a bilingual family and bilingual friend group, you don’t even realize how much you jump around from one language to another. To a point that you’re no longer fluent in any one of them, but a combination of the two

I am not that much of a multilingual. But my brain just mix every words I remember at that particular moment, in a mixed language, and it came out like a word salad.🌚

I'm a bilingual can relate. Cos sometimes I mix up my language and suddenly talk in the wrong language. 😅😂😂 But my parents are multilinguals so I will once in a while hear my parents throw questionable languages here and there while talking in another language. 🤣🤣 and my house literally talks in three different languages.

I'm not bilingual but am learning Japanese, and I've had it a few times where I have a brain moment and fail to speak without rapid fire stuttering, so sometimes when speaking with one of my friends also in my Japanese class, I just say a few words in Japanese Japanese then switch back to english

As someone from northeast of India who have friends from different states, i tend to speak more than 6 languages in a convo🤣🤣..... thankfully many people understand what I'm saying even though they can't speak.

There was this time i don't remember one word from my native language while talking to my mom i only know the English word so i had to translate it from google and it's so disappointing, and it's because i always talked in my native and English mixed with my friends😅

No worries it happens to me alot of time even tho English is not my native language but when I'm angry I say alot of things in English 🤭 people around me don't understand cuz English is our 4th Language (hard to remember) As a Multilingual I often mixup languages cuz Ik way too many languages even I forgot some words then I use another one
