Awesome, I drove one of these in the 80s while stationed in Alaska. Great cehicle, you can haul lots of gear. Fiberglass shell, you can push over 3 inch trees if need be. Not too bad of a ride as long as you are in the front. I loved it, especially in the spring, summer, same environment as here.

I used to drive these in the french swamps of south america. That was 10 years ago and i'm still in love with the BV 206.

I drove these for several years in the UK, Norway and the Falkland Islands. Awesome vehicles that would go pretty much anywhere, could have done with a diff lock on the front and rear cabs a couple of time though.
@satanihelvetet3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you really miss the diff lock sometimes at this models. That was aviable as an option at later models (with diesel engine).
@EdvinFields3 жыл бұрын
Drove these in the army. Great machines, lots of fun. They are even amphibious. Two weaknesses though, that high revving diesel never stops sweating and leaking oil, and the lack of diff locks between the four tracks, mean that if one track looses traction, you can get stuck. Happened especially on icy slopes. Top speed about 40km/h, fuel consumption about 11 ltr / 10km in rough terrain. Ours used a mix of kerosene and diesel fuel.
