Great video, very well done. One question, do you know if a SSD with heatsink preinstalled from factory will fit inside? I have a Nextorage SSD that has a very nice heatsink, and it's quite difficult to find an enclosure that will fit. I know I could take it down, but it's so nice built and I would like to keep it on the SSD. The total height is 11mm

It won't fit like that, feel free to dismantle heatsink ,this passive aluminum case really does good job

The slot on the middle of the head of the screw is to fix the m.2 so it does not touch the plaque.

The alloy body and finned heat dissipation plate help a lot I had UGREEN 40Gbps M.2 NVMe Enclosure with Cooling Fan, but this one is much better, I will test soon heat under load

Does it disconnect if mac goes to sleep? That is, can it always stay connected to mac?

"Put hard disks to sleep when possible” checkbox in the Battery and Power Adapter panel. unselect it, after this should not be.
