god, i need one of these. i love rutger gunnarsson's play style and i can only imagine how a bass he helped hagström with must sound! i have a 74 swede bass that i love with all of my heart that i got super cheap a couple years ago, but a modern super swede would rule

These are great instruments! Had the opportunity to borrow one for a couple of weeks, and it blew me away. I would probably swap the pickups for something a bit more vintage, with a lot of growl, but the included humbuckers are not bad in anyway. They have a huge and modern sound, perfect for anything from pop to extreme metal, but I like my J-pickups a bit more vintage sounding.

Brilliant. Thanks for the demo, the Scandinavian understatement and the fact that you are obviously a ' proper' musician.

Do you experience any neck dive with this instrument? Tough to find much information on them out there. Also, with the raised bit extending from the fretboard into the body would you expect to scrape it up if you were using a pick? How has it held up, if you still have it? Enjoyable review, and thanks.

Just bought one of these in the same color! Curious, what strings are you using?

That bass looks very grunge

Can you slap?

There's less space between body, or actually the fretboard that extends down to the bridge, and the strings. So it can be gnarly at first. But after some adjusting, there's no problem :)

What kind of adjustment? The pickups are actual humbuckers?
