Your hair is beautiful. I saw someone else use it on straight hair and she love it. It kept her hair straight even in the humidity, however she said it left a coating and would probably take a few washes to get it all out.

The keratin in the dreamwow REQUIRES you apply heat to activate it, like a keratin treatment. Not applying heat SIGNIFICANTLY alters the results. There are almost zero BIPOC folks reviewing this item, could you please please please try it again and this time add heat? If it was slightly less frizzy than the control side without heat, imagine how it could work with it. BIPOC girls need to know!

The directions for the one she used, the “Dream Coat for Curly Hair”, says you can air dry or blow-dry. There are 3 different versions of the Dream Coat, and the other 2 versions (Supernatural and the Extra Strength) require heat.
@bl724010 ай бұрын
@@1naturalbeauty That's true. But I remember learning you need heat to activate the keratin in any of them, like a keratin treatment, and all the reviews I've seen of it on white hair show really good results while using a diffuser, so I still think it would be helpful to have her try it again.

@@bl7240 True; it would definitely be helpful to see if there’s a difference using heat vs air drying.

She did use heat. After she finished braiding she said she was going to sit under the dryer for an hour.

@@MM-jq3lk Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I watched the video again, and I stand corrected, she did say that. Now I can trust that it's a full experiment for a review.

I agree, your results are beautiful. I've seen this product used as a leave-in with the Doux foam or just as a refresher. As you said will be interesting later on in the year.

It came out great! I am going to try it. Also the non color wow side has less movement and even more son on day 5 there is enough difference to prefer the wood wow side.

Indeed you have healthy strands follicles and heavily pigmented! It’s GORGEOUSLY BEAUTIFUL! When hair still have pigment in it …strength it will coil! We the silver white and gray community loses strength because pigment is absent! You have one curl pattern. Many of us have multiple curl/coil patterns (I have 3 different curl/coil patterns) “s” bond which means curl! I don’t know who came up with numbers and letters for hair coil patterns… texture doesn’t change no matter the coils/patterns. We never were educated on that in cosmetology college or on State Board Test! I’ve been license since 1998 and … haven’t seen anything on the refresher classes about numbers and alphabets for hair descriptions…

hi nj 🤗 you looked like a baby doll when you came back to show the results - so cute! after day 5, your hair looked similar on both sides. but as you turned towards the back of the non-wow side, it did look more frizzy compared to the wow side. i would like to see you use this product during the summer months when it may be put more to the test. tfs

I saturate the braids in product and then coat my hands too, if I have nails on, I use gloves, it keeps the frizz away

Hey! Thank you so much for this review. I'm hip to this product, but like you wasn't sure about a one product WNG with it. I didn't see much definition when you working in so yea no. I saw they have released curl wow. I'm going to try it while the beauty insider sale is going on. Would you consider doing a review on that? Thanks again💜

Thanks for watching love 😊. I probably won't be trying the curl wow. Not a product I am currently interested in.

This product is heat-activated. Not just that, you also have to apply light tension to your hair while blow-drying in order for it to really de-frizz/humidify. I have type 4b/c hair and it works perfectly.

the original color wow is heat activated. this is the curly hair version. Color wow did a video demonstration showing how we can use it and then diffuse or air dry

There's different versions of this product. One to straighten curly/kinky hair which is extra, one meant for waves, and one meant for for girls to eliminate frizz and I don't believe this one requires heat
