HAI VAN PASS - SCENIC Mountain Crossing (Da Nang - Hue, Vietnam)

We drove through the Hai Van Pass!! This is a long scenic route along the eastern coast of Vietnam. It has stunning view of mountains and coastline during the drive. We drove up from DaNang towards the northern city Hue. It's such a peaceful and beautiful road and a MUST DO if you're in the area! :)

I know its late, but the pass was an important supply-track back in the war. The bunkers were built by the frenches before the war and used as something like a stronghold or basis for troops, and the us-forces used them in vietnam war because of its tactical positioning.

Awesome looking scenery. The old forts you saw at the top of Hai Van Pass were built by the French and were also used by the Americans. Cool that you got to have a nice lunch after you saw Lang Co beach. Looks delicious. Good place for seafood.

Ahhh Thank you! Yeah, we learned that a lot of this area was used during the war, and we are so glad to see it's very natural and scenic. It was such a beautiful ride! :)

Yeah, so true! It was a very nice change, and even though there was some traffic, it's always so beneficial to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature! 😍

Ya Hai Van pass is damn cool , but u should try Khanh Le pass, which is the way lead to Da Lat city . I’m a VNese and I rode it few months ago , suggest go in early morning to catch the best part , floating clouds. The pass is very long , about 100km
