Just picked up one of these a couple weeks ago, like you, i also thought there was no need for the wheelie bar, that is until i put better tires on it lol, once it had better grip it flipped itself right over on its lid haha, so the wheelie bar is necessary, with better tires at least 👍

Hiya Ryan ! Really solid truck and great review on this . This thing really had some pretty hard impacts that it with stood. It could of been one or the sun of many hits that finally caused that shock eyelet to break off. Either way it did really well. Concrete is hard to get traction on with a lot of Rc’s. I’ve seen arrmas and Traxxas’s break with lesser impacts. Sometimes it just how it hits that snaps things no matter what your running! Really good job on this buddy ! Love the skate park action lately!👍🏻😃👊🏼💯

Thanks Robby and I totally agree with your assessment. It did well and it really isn't designed to take falls from that height. I've seen many higher end brands break from lesser impacts

I love HBX products, this is an amazing performer for a 1/16 scale truck. Sorry about the shock breaking off, can that be repaired? Great review Ryan, and thanks for sharing.

Yeah true but I can't be too hard on HBX because it isn't meant to handle an 8-10ft drop repeatedly lol

I wonder that the scate parks in your country almost so empty in Germany we can't play with rc cars on scat parks every time are there scatter or BMX driver.. I want to by the 903a but it is unavailable in German amazon page.

Well there are two reasons. This was filmed during the day while the kids were in still at school. I imagine it is used a lot on weekends, after school and most of all during the summer months when the kids are on summer vacation. Also, it is winter so it is chilly so less kids want to skate in the cold.

@RDsRCReviews One of the local shops here said the MJX is a better brand and HBX as theyre not good quality. Not sure your thoughts

@@blaircooper9956 MJX is mostly known for drones and they just got into RC cars. HBX only makes RC cars. I like both though I would agree that MJX uses stronger parts. HBX parts will break. You can bash the MJX Hyper Go's and they are difficult to break.

@@blaircooper9956 as long as it has a throttle dual rate then yes you can. I just can't remember offhand if it does but I would have mentioned it in the video. Most of them have a speed limiting dial for the throttle. Usually you have throttle and steering trims and then a dual rate knobs for steering and throttle though some only have a dual rate for the steering.

Yes it is very similar to the 16889 pro since it came with oil filled shocks as an upgrade. This truck has a slightly different motor from what I recall though.

I know that this video is a touch older but I need some help if you can please ? Are the batteries that come with this car 2S ?? And is the connector and is the connector that you use to charge the battery a balance connector ??
