At the Cultural Show for Celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-Cambodia Diplomatic Relations on August 28th local time. "Haicai Tune" (the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of China), "Flower Waist Quick Tune" ( Primitive Folk Song) appeared on the stage in Cambodia.
The melodious song and cheerful dance fully showcased the unique charm of Yi ethnic culture of Yunnan Province."Sea Vegetable Tune" , "Flower Waist Quick Tune" are both classic folk songs of Yi ethnic group. Yi folk songs are an important carrier of Yi culture and one of the most important methods of inheriting Yi culture. They records the history, science, production and life, traditional customs of Yi people. Since ancient times, Yi folk songs have gained great popularity among listeners with beautiful melodies and touching vocals.
The year of 2023 marks the 65th Anniversary of the establishment of China-Cambodia diplomatic relations and the year of China-Cambodia friendship as well as the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative.The Cultural Show for Celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-Cambodia Diplomatic Relations & the“Beautiful China · Colorful Yunnan” Cultural Exchange Events hosted by Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia, Ministry of Culture and Fine-arts in the Kingdom of Cambodia, the People's Government of Yunnan Province, organized by Information Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province and Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province were held. The aim is to further strengthen China-Cambodia cultural exchanges and mutual learning, as well as endowing the new connotation to the profound friendship between China and Cambodia.
