The level of security in Israel is one of the highest in the world. As a rule, every station has a security team and full of cameras. That's about all we know.

I think it's beyond our pay grade))) But yea, Israels security is considered pretty good. Armed security at entrance to every station - in and out. The stations are small. Everything is in the open. Everyone gets checked - and all the bags, too. You can't get in unless through security. The whole station is fenced out. You can't just walk in through a crack in a fence somewhere. I think you have to be in the field to know what's what. Maybe there are videos about it or something you can find. Most of it is concealed and pretty silent. You dont see it. So it doesn't bother you when you walk through. The approach is very strategic. So unless you are part of the field, you dont really know. And you're not supposed to... thats kinda part of the deal... but people with semiautomatics walk around all the time. Security is usually young people that come from army special forces. Everybody is armed. You got at least 3 near the entrance door. And another 3-4 at check-in - that's like a meter past the door. Some walk around the station, and some patrol the platforms. And some around the station. Parking lots, etc. The key is how tiny the spaces are. It's a few relatively small rooms in the station. Each one can be cut from the other. Platforms are small, too. Everything is small. A few people can grab the whole space in a moment. Cameras everywhere. You kinda realize the level of readiness when you're there. People are used to calling about a suspicious object right away. Somebody forgot a bag on a bench - cops come with a robot and blow it up in a moment. Everything closes and opens up in less than 20 minutes. If you shout or act provocatively - even more so if do it and you look like an arab - people with a semiautomatic will be there for you in a moment. Small place - security everywhere. But I'm not sure you will be able to get a gun or a knife in. They scan you and your bags with mri kind of thing. They dont let you in until you take everything that rings out of your pockets and bags. Sometimes, people get through the scanner on their 4th try. In most cases, if you make problems inside the station, you will not be armed. That's just the things that the eye can see and I speculate about. There are more stuff like rooms that have bullet proof glass and places that can be used as holes to drop and explode explosives in. Tactical stuff. Trains have security in them. Some armed. Some concealed. Stations are closed to each other. Maybe each 20 minutes max, you have a station. Most times - less. If something happens in a train, they grab you and next station they are already ready for you. After coronavirus, you have to use a card to buy a ticket. To get this card, they need your id and confirmation. So if you ride - they know who you are. The card has your photo on it.
