Just got one in. Thanks so much for the code. Love the brightness. Just wish regular molicels would work. Had to add some little aluminum foil balls to the positive terminals so it would make contact.

at room temperature of 25C, stepdown is timed around the 1 minute mark, with the body being too hot to keep a grip on and the handle being very warm to the touch, it steps down to around 4k lumens after that.@@markbeck3115

I hae one. Unfortunately the leds started staying on in avery low moonlight. But all the time. Then the other day, 100% full power, as soon as i screw the tailcap or battery tube, bam.. and it does not lower itself thermally.. it will destroy itself.. and i cannot figure out how to take apart. I think its glued. Mto9r at least had a ring holding the driver in.. it sux. I love the light. Ui is cheap. But its powerful.

My meter shows that the blue charging indicator lights up when it's still charging for awhile afterwards. I've just come in from one drone location, plugged it in and instantly blue while still charging. Have you checked yours with a USB meter?

Yesterday, I was one click away from buying the Imalent SR16. Before I did, I listened to another review on the SR16 in which the author pointed out that the drop test for this flashlight was only 0.5 meter (1.6 feet). Drop it once, even at low heigth, and it could be toast. Now, I am a lot more sensitive to the impact resistence of any flashlight.

I believe so, I think they'll actually work with flat tops if you pull the plastic off around the terminals.

Конечно Ималент.По качеству,упаковке,надёжности,ещё и активное охлаждение в виде вентиляторов имеется.Единственное, светораспределение по вкусу.Но цена ималента,вмещает чуть ли не три цены Haikelite hk08,и вот тут решать нужно самому.По-качественнее,стабильнее и по-надёжнее,или дешевле

Man, your poor neighbours! 😂 I was just looking at this after reading the best bang for buck 50K+ lumen monster thread on BLF. Luckily I think I made a good choice with my Sofirn Q8Plus. Might be 1/3rd of the output, but at least a bit of thought went into it. Just the ano on the Haikelite is enough to put me off. I can see the appeal though, it’s undeniably a “Wow!!!”

Hey mate need help. Today i received my HK08 and after i tested it, it wont turn off completely, it is constantly on moonlight mode and only way to turn it off is unscrewing the cap, is it normal or not? or is this moonlight mode some hidden feature?

It's definitely not normal. Can you try it with different batteries?

In the manual it says that "there is a small drain on the battery while is off and it shouldn't be of any concern, we reccomend removing the cells or partially loosening the cap if it is not used for several months" maybe this is why it is turned on all the time, it's like moonlight mode on anduril UI, 0.5 lumens.
