imagine Oikawa in a band, all four of them (Watari, Maki, Iwaizumi, and the Great King himself), are all separated. It was a normal day, Oikawa just inside his favorite coffee shop , getting drinks for the band as usual;the great King smoking a cigarette. His mind kept on wandering about his old three best friends and what they're up to now. It was magical, ethereal even, that all three of them had ever been together. Getting up from his bed as well as grabbing a notebook and pen, Toru sighed. 'Another song...to represent the Euphoric time of highschool...and volleyball.' As Oikawa kept on writing, a sudden thought crossed his mind. "Maybe I'll put shorty in there..." He mumbled to himself, the memory of the short carat top named Shoyo Hinata still vibrant. "Since he managed to get Yachi pregnant, even though he should've ended up with Tobio-Chan...I'll just call him Tom." Oikawa shrugged, jotting down lyrics right after. Man...does high school bliss ever end?

This makes me happy that he ended up being a volleyball player. Oikawa could have fit any of the roles- many of them frivolous ones. But it's a good thing that he ended up being a hardworking and ambitious dork instead.
