This is just pure genius and fantastic. I think this song describes Asahi and his struggle to be ace again perfectly. Even more so with Nishinoya trying to get him to be ace and the other members of Karasuno helping him. The way you made the video just helped show the connection between this song and the situation they went through and that is just fantastic. I really love this show and this song and you have done them both justice. Thank you for creating this video and giving your time to it and letting us view the finished product.

I identify most with Asahi because we both know that indescribable pain of defeat... the kind of defeat that perpetuates loss. It is completely consuming, and so when I watch this I get extremely emotional... because unlike Asahi... I... gave up something I was passionate up... and I never returned to it. I wish I hadn't more then anything... I was really good at it too... god... I can't stop crying.

Yes, the same thing happened to me. I couldn't overcome a hurdle in a sport that I loved and as a result I stopped competing in it. Life goes on though, and I am just so happy to see this character prevail in his struggle :) His friends are what helped him get back again - all of them supported him and didn't give up on him, and I think that is the difference.

Viv Odmann I did the same thing. I also gave up something years ago because I was defeated. I wish I had friends who would have encouraged me not to do so, like Noya and Hinata did it for Asahi. It's hard to admit but sometimes I still wish I hadn't gave up. But you're right, life goes on :') I'm really happy for Asahi though. It was nice to see him overcoming his fears. Amazing amv and perfect choice of music. I'm in tears too.

lizikeee I seem to have brought several people to tears at this point :') Even one of my friends cried and now she 'hates' me for it and wont watch any of my other amvs XD Haikyuu is just so beautiful though because all characters struggle with different things and have different goals which makes it so unique and identifiable with so many people!

I found this video years ago, when I first started watching haikyuu way back when the first season was the only one that had been released. And to this day this is one of my favorite AMV's ever, for any Fandom. The editing, the song choice, the emotional resonance of the two introductory episodes for Asahi and Noya. It's all so good and it all works so well together. I go through phases where I'll re-watch haikyuu and then not think about it for months or even a couple of years at a time. But even years later I still find myself coming back to watch this video. Even when I'm not that enthused by haikyuu.

True,and this also kind of fits me. A couple of years ago,my team was defeated in a match of a local game.(I was the the leader back then literary because I am the oldest among the others) it was my first time in such a huge event and I got really nervous during the game. After that, i kept blaming myself for letting everyone in my team down even though my teammates told me otherwise. since then,I always have a panic attack when it comes to team works. Luckily,Elise ,a friend i met last year had shown to me that I am capable of being a good leader. It's a shame that she quited school last week because of some problems with her parents. Every time I play this song, I always remembered that how great this friend is and what she did to me.
