I felt the same way back in 2018, because Haikyuu came out in 2014 and I was ignoring it because of the weird fandom posts that made me think it was something else (not insulting fans, but I just wasn't into BL or Yaoi). I finally watched it when I had time and...I'm so glad I got to follow it to the manga's completion for 2-3 years. Really made my life better.
