Funny enough, Around the 90's the official volleyball rules were changed. You used to get a foul for touching the net with the ball, but now it's completely legal. However most High School Gym Teachers haven't caught the memo and still give students fouls for touching the net with the ball.

I have to admit that I never gave sports-anime a chance, since I prefer the fantasy-settings anime can bring which no other genre is able to and also I'd just choose real-life sports if I wanted to watch it - or at least that's what I thought.... this show is soooo extreme, I'm glad I gave it a chance thanks to you guys. Love your reaction and the hype which is simply infectious.
