Good stuff mate, Baccus have some great ranges, their figures are great. It's amazing how much detail they can get into such a small scale, thanks for showing their terrain I have often wondered about it.

+Jeff-AHTabletop Also with painting 6mm figures, I tend to just block in colours then give a light wash of black and they come out looking pretty good, occasionally on a command unit I'll so some very minor highlights but with their size it's really hard to notice when they are on the board :) You can use your basing to really make the miniatures pop, I find using basing materials lighter in colour helps to make the figures stand out as well as not overcrowding the bases, I'm currently in the process of re-basing some of my infantry for my Goth army so they aren't as tightly packed.

The sections with gaps could be for T-junctions? But there seem to be quite a few of them.

I bought the same items as yourself, I use them for ACW and they look great, very easy to paint up as well. I did cover all the rubber sections with a good coat of PVA (white wood glue) prior to painting, not sure if it helped but my logic was it might help to stop the paint cracking on the flexible material. So far it has worked.

+TheDiomedef16 Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to give it a try!

I've never ordered anything from overseas because I have always been afraid of getting everything damaged by customs and /or really getting it stuck to me by them for import taxes or something like that. Did you have any problems with anything like that when you ordered? I would really like to get some 6mm Ancients and ACW from Baccus. I like everything in their Napoleonic range that I have been able to purchase through us companies that import from them but they are getting hard to get here in the states without ordering directly from Baccus.

Great video there. I like the detail detail of the Baccus stuff, although I have yet to buy any of their scenery. Your vid will persuade me to do so. As for painting the roads, my suggestion is to use a flexible spray basecoat, dry brush a highlight, put a wash over it and seal with a similar flexible spray varnish. Products made by Flexicote (www.flexi-cote.com) is one such example of this type of spray. Looking forward to seeing more progress on this project.

Those hoplites were painted by my friend Gunnar at Hook Island Gaming. He doesn't appreciate that you used the picture without giving credit.
